A. S. Degrees
Florida Medical Training Institute offers 2 different Associates in Science Degrees.
The A.S. in EMS Management Degree is an 71.5 credit hour program with the Core Curriculum consisting of 51 credits earned by EMT-Basic and Paramedic. Along with those two courses an additional 15 credits can be obtained by attending General Education Courses and 3 credits from attending an EMS Management Class. FMTI also offers an A.S. in Fire Science Degree. This is a 61 credit hour program with the Core Curriculum consisting of 27 credits earned by EMT Basic and Fire Fighter I and II. Along with those two courses 15 credits can be obtained by attending General Education Courses. An additional 18 credits are needed for this degree.
