PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
This program is delivered in a modular format, covering the science of fire, the use of breathing apparatus, ladders, hoses, nozzles and fire streams. This program is mentally, physically and emotionally challenging that includes extensive classroom and practical elements. Upon successful completion of this program the student will be eligible to sit for the Florida State Firefighter written and practical examination.

EQUIPMENT
Each student must supply a 20 foot piece of man-made rope(1/2 inch in diameter). They also must supply their own turn out gear that meets NFPA requirements. The school has a very limited supply of turn out gear for rent.
