
PROGRAM HOURS
See class schedule for dates, topics and exam dates. Classes are held Monday and Wednesdays from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Clinical and field internship hours will be scheduled by the student according to availability of hours in the hospital setting and designated ambulance agencies.
PROGRAM TUITION AND BOOK FEES
Tuition for the Phlebotomy/EKG Technician program varies from school to school. For the 200 hour program the registration fee must accompany the application to the school. All fees, including the book fee must be paid in full be the first day of class. Please click below for the rates in your area

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The following objectives have been established for the Phlebotomy/EKG Technician program of FMTI.
1. Comprehend, apply and evaluate clinical information relevant to his/her role as a Phlebotomy/EKG Technician (evaluated by comprehensive course exam and state exam by employer's survey).
2. Demonstrate technical proficiency in all skills necessary to fulfill the role of Phlebotomy/EKG Technician evaluated by final practical exam, clinical and field internship evaluations).
4. To assist the graduate Phlebotomy/EKG Technician in the recognition of his/her need for continuing education.
